My skin has improved a lot lately because I’ve changed the whole skincare routine. Of course, there have to be ups and downs sometimes. This routine still has delivered a big improvement to me. So, today I’m going to write a post to share with you about it ^^

About my skin type

I am 22. My skin is the oily-combination type which means that it is oily on the T-zone and quite normal everywhere else. I did some online tests to figure out my skin type. I also did skin tests at some clinics, and they told me more about the percentage of oil and water in my skin, skin age, and some other complicated information about my skin. If you haven’t known your skin type yet, try these tests that I link below:

Or you can download this app called Happyskin from Appstore. In this app there will be tests and questions, after answering them all, it will tell you your skin type, your skin condition and some suggestions for your routine ^^

My skin is sensitive. I mean changes in the weather, destinations, skincare routine, and so on can lead to enormous changes in my skin like arousing of pimples, redness, etc. For such a long time, I do not have the nerve to change anything in my skincare routine. Even though my old routine didn’t make any improvements for my skin at all. I would let my skin stay the same rather than becoming worse.

But one day, when the courage comes, I go to the store, buying and trying some products that forever changes my skincare routine. So here is the list for you ^^

  • 1.Cleansing step

To talk about cleansing, I have to say that I am so in love with using my cleansing oil, my facial cleansing device, and my HadaCrie ^^

  • 2. Toning step

This step is known as the crucial step of every skincare routine. Even on my laziest day, I never skip this step. Toning my skin and using a facial mask, that’s good to go to bed after a long day.
Products that I love for toning step are Son&Park Beauty water and Hada Labo hydrating lotion light.

  • 3. Booster, essence, serum

Clarins, SKII, Skinceuticals Hydrating B5 gel, CNP Laboratory Invisible Peeling Booster, and PeterThomasRoth squalane oil are some favorite products I tried out these days.

  • 4. Treatment products

AHA, BHA from COSRX and Paula’s Choice

  • 5. Moisturing products

Clinique dramatically different moisturing gel/ hydrating jelly is still my holy grail after many years.

  • 6. Face masks

Sheet masks: Naruko, My beauty diaries

Biorace Pore tightening pearl clay mask

  • 7. Sun protection

Ultra sun for Face SPF 30, Clarins UV PLUS SPF 50 translucent, Laroche Posay anthelios anti-shine SPF 50, Innisfree daily UV protection cream mild/ triple care.

So that’s my most recent skincare routine and products that I use in each step. I will try to write about it in other posts in the future.
And besides skincare tips, I have some more for you:

  • Drink enough water: It is crucial to be well-hydrated, but it is hard to keep up with drinking water. So my tip is to have your water tumbler. By using your tumbler, you can keep track of how much water you take. It is also more hygienic and environmentally friendly.
  • Sleep enough and on time: there is no doubt about the benefits of a good 7 to 8-hour sleep. I have not managed to have enough sleep. But when I have, it does improve my skin condition significantly. So, to have good skin, you’d better try to sleep well.
  • Be actively involved in physical activities: Go to the gym, play sports, dancing or whatever activities that make you sweat. They help unclogged your pores and dragged out any dirt or dead skin cells. Your skin will be much healthier thanks to those activities. Remember to cleanse it right after sweating ^^
  • Vitamins and minerals supplements: we cannot have enough vitamins and minerals just by eating. Lack of those may lead to unhealthy skin. So I use some supplements based on my condition, such as vitamin C, Fish oil, etc.

Ok, those are all I want to share today. I hope you find this post helpful ^^
